Job summary

The Themesoft Inc. is seeking a Technical Security Research Engineer to research, prototype, evaluate, and operationalize emerging cybersecurity capabilities.

This hands-on role moves from research hypotheses to working code, proofs-of-concept, product evaluation, and enterprise recommendations. You will build AI security harnesses, study AI security, agentic AI, application security, and related technologies; design experiments, implement prototypes, test vendors, and present findings to

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on software development skills, particularly Python, Java, Node, Go, C/C++ with experience in additional modern programming languages.
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, tool calling, orchestration frameworks, APIs, cloud, containers, and security automation.
• Strong knowledge of Application Security, AI Security, vulnerability research, threat modeling, Secure development, Network security, infrastructure Security, Security Architecture and other security domains.
• Demonstrated ability to design experiments, build prototypes, and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.

• Experience pitching to venture capital, corporate venture teams, accelerators, or investment stakeholders.
• Patents, open‑source security projects, vulnerability research, or other demonstrated technical innovation.
• Certifications : CISSP, OSCP, CSSLP or equivalent

Skills:

1. AI Security & Agentic AI Development

• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, tool calling, orchestration frameworks, APIs, and security automation
• Ability to build agentic AI security harnesses, prototypes, and proof‑of‑concepts
• Knowledge of AI Security and emerging AI‑native security technologies

2. Security Research & Emerging Technology Evaluation

• Research experience in Application Security, AI Security, Quantum/PQC, Blockchain, and other emerging technologies
• Ability to design experiments, build prototypes, benchmark products, and perform technical due diligence
• Experience validating vendor claims and assessing enterprise applicability

3. Software Engineering & Security Architecture
