Job summary

2iSolutions Inc. seeks a Cybersecurity Architect for a 1-year onsite contract in Regina. You will lead security architecture efforts, advise Operations on gaps, and design secure, scalable network solutions spanning on-premises and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with NOC/SOC/MSSP, bridging enterprise network engineering with information security, and oversee Zero Trust implementations and security operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity architect/lead consultant experience.
• Strong experience in network security.
• CISSP or similar certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contextualize opportunities based on controls, standards and risk; provide security guidance on Operations solutions.

Job description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Architect for a 1 year contract, onsite in Regina, to join a project as a leading consultant.

In this role you will:

• Provide security specialist/architect expertise with operational experience to advise and support Operations in addressing identified security gaps.
• Help to bridge gaps between enterprise network engineering and information security, designing and securing hybrid, cloud, and on-premises network infrastructures
• The resource will help contextualize and prioritize opportunities based on existing controls, standards and operational risk, and provide security guidance on solutions developed by Operations.
• Design, build, and oversee secure network architectures, Zero Trust frameworks, and network security operations across enterprise and cloud environments
• Projects and support will include Cisco, Azure, network, storage, data center, server and related products. This should be from a security solution architecture perspective.
• Work closely with Network Operations Centers (NOC), Security Operations Centers (SOC), and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP)
• A background in operational administrative work in infrastructure (Server/Storage/Backup/Network administration) is nice to have

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity experience as a lead level/architect level consultant
• Strong experience in Network Security
• CISSP and similar certifications are nice to have
