Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Limited in Kingsville, Ontario is seeking a Customs Coordinator to prepare customs paperwork and maintain our standing with Canada and US customs through brokers, drivers, and staff.

Hours are 10am–7pm Monday to Friday with every other Saturday 8am–5pm. The role requires a College Diploma or equivalent customs experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and intermediate computer skills. The company operates under the SUNSET brand and values PRIDE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customs paperwork for all International Trade.

• Ensure NAFTA Certificates are complete and accurate.

Our Kingsville head office location is currently seeking a Customs Coordinatorto join our team. The essential function of this position is preparation of customs documents and maintenance of our standing with Canada and US customs through our brokers, drivers, and employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare customs paperwork for all International Trade.
• Act as an advisor on all International shipments.
• Ensure NAFTA Certificates are complete.
• Represent Mastronardi Produce in all customs related issues.
• Ensure full compliance.
• Coordinate movement of cross border shipments (CA/US transfers).
• College Diploma or equivalent customs experience required.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Be respectful and deal tactfully with customs, other employees and vendors.
• Effective communication, problem solving, attention to detail and Intermediate computer skills required.

Working Conditions:

• Typical office environment.
• Constant use of phone.
• Use of company computer to input information.
