Qualifications

• College diploma in SCM or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer orders from receipt through shipment, delivery, and invoicing.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers/project managers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and supply chain updates.
• Process customer invoicing and maintain ERP records.
• Support procurement activities including purchase orders and supplier follow-up.
• Align procurement and inventory actions with forecasts and project requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to meet targets.
• Support production planning and scheduling.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
• Handle import/export documentation and compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers for timely deliveries.
• Monitor cost metrics to support improvements.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare reports and KPI dashboards on supply chain performance.

About This Role

The Customer Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for coordinating customer orders, material procurement, inventory management, logistics execution, invoicing, and supply chain operations to ensure the successful delivery of products and services.
Acting as a key link between customers, suppliers, logistics providers, manufacturing, sales, engineering, and finance teams, the role ensures seamless execution from order receipt through delivery and invoicing. The position supports business growth through demand forecasting, supply chain analysis, inventory optimization, and proactive management of risks impacting customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Coordinate customer orders from receipt through shipment, delivery, and invoicing.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers/project managers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and supply chain updates.
• Process customer invoicing and maintain accurate order, purchasing, inventory, and logistics records within ERP systems
• Support procurement activities including purchase order issuance, supplier communication, and delivery follow-up.
• Support supply planning activities by aligning procurement and inventory actions with business forecasts and project requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to ensure material availability while maintaining inventory targets.
• Support production planning and scheduling activities by aligning material availability with operational requirements.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including road, sea, and air transportation.
• Manage customs clearance processes, import/export documentation, and compliance with dangerous goods transportation regulations.
• Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor purchasing, logistics, inventory, and total cost metrics to support operational and cost improvement initiatives.
• Proactively identify supply chain risks, communicate impacts to stakeholders, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare reports, KPI dashboards, and analysis related to customer service, inventory, logistics, procurement, and supply chain performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management and Finance teams to support customer commitments and business growth.
• Support new product introductions, continuous improvement initiatives, and supply chain process optimization.

Essential Qualifications, Experience, And Skills

• College diploma or university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• 3-7 years of experience in supply chain, customer service, logistics, procurement, operations coordination, or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably ERP LN, Syspro or similar ERP platforms.
• Experience with customer order management and invoicing processes.

Compensation range: $70,000 – $80,000 CAD
