Customer Service Representative (Multi-lingual) for currency exchange
Job Types : Full-time / part-time
We are looking for a Multilingual Customer Service Representative for our currency exchange division where we provide better than bank exchange rates to our clients. We are committed to providing quality service to the world of currency trading. Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, banking transactions and variety of internal operational tasks.
This is a largely phone and computer-based client service role. This is not a sales role, but previous selling experience is considered a strong asset. The main responsibilities will be to process applications with data, handle incoming customer calls, on-board new customers with data entry and compliance checks, execute currency transactions with customers, and assist management in growth initiatives. You must love speaking on the phone with people and have an excellent command of English both verbal and written. If you are quick with computers (Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word) that would be a plus. You'll be working under a former private equity and investment banker in a fast-paced environment.
Buy and sell foreign currency in the form of cash, cheques and wire transfers
Inform and help clients in person, over the phone, and through email regarding organizational products and services
Maintain personal and business customer profiles and accounts by accurately collecting, updating and verifying customer information
Perform banking duties
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal and risk management policies
Previous 2-3 years of experience in financial services or retail
Experience in Western Union or Pawn shops or similar Exchange offices preferred
Familiarity with foreign exchange markets.
Working availability during weekends
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluency in English and other languages (multilingual) French / German / Chinese / Spanish aside to English
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a customer-first approach.
A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
