Responsibilities

• Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
• Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safety and efficiency
• Clean and inspect equipment, including fluid level checks
• Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
• Willingness to work in environments with moderate risks or discomforts
• Availability to participate in ongoing training and certification programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a retail or service-oriented environment
• Familiarity with equipment handling or maintenance
• Interest in pursuing certifications for forklift operation and propane filling
