Job summary

A leading equipment company is looking for a Customer Service Representative to assist customers with inquiries, process orders, and maintain documentation. Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least three years of relevant customer service experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. This remote position is open to candidates located within Canada. Bilingual skills are preferred.

This position is remote and open to candidates located within Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding stock availability, pricing, lead times, delivery, and technical product details via phone and email.
  • Process orders, quotes, return merchandise authorizations (RMAs), and warranty claims using SAP and CRM systems.
  • Support customers with initial technical inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution or escalation to technical experts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for orders, invoices, warranties, and credits.
  • Track and communicate updates on shipments, back orders, and product availability.
  • Promote Epiroc products and services by keeping customers informed of new offerings, special programs, and promotions.
  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction and sales performance metrics.
  • Participate in training programs, seminars, and team meetings to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement skills.
Knowledge / Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum three years of customer service related to parts and service operations, preferably in the mining or construction industries.
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with SAP or similar CRM platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to visualize mechanical and hydraulic equipment scenarios and explain product features and benefits effectively.
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
