What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
- Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
- Perform equipment inspections and maintenance, including checking fluid levels
- Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment
- Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in a moderately hazardous environment with safety precautions
- Capability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in customer service or retail environments
- Familiarity with U-Haul products and services
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification offered upon employment)
- Experience with vehicle maintenance or inspections
