Job summary

Lakeside Garden Gallery in Brampton, Ontario is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet customers, handle sales, and provide exceptional service at the register. You will process payments, manage loyalty points, and help with merchandising.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and experiences.
• Positive and friendly attitude.
• Good numeracy skills. Able to manage time effectively.
• Able to answer telephones in a friendly manner. Works well in a team environment.
• Good organization and communication skills. Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages an asset.
• 1-2 years of Cashier/Customer Service or Retail experience.
• Flexible availability. Days, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Stay informed of weekly promotions and pricing accuracy.
• Greet customers and answer queries.
• Provide cashier services, including cash, credit, debit and gift cards.
• Process loyalty points and complete sales on POS.
• Arrange delivery or pick-up for customers.
• Assist with pricing, merchandising, and cleanliness.
• Reconcile till at end of shift.
• Assist other departments as required.
