Job summary

RONA is seeking a retail associate to assist customers with information and product requirements in-store or over the phone. You will manage special orders, confirm pricing and delivery dates, and maintain stock levels with clear signage.

Ideal candidates bring customer-focused experience, strong communication, and physical ability to lift and move merchandise. This role supports promotions and training to improve selling skills and ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to perform duties involving stretching, bending, lifting, and carrying medium to heavy products.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with information and product requirements in-store or by phone.

• Maintain store stock levels and signage; monitor inventory and address shortages.
• Stay updated on flyers and promotions to inform customers.

Your role

• Assist customers with their information/product requirements in the store or over the telephone
• Prepare special orders, obtain the required information and specifications from customer, contact Special Order Purchaser to establish and confirm price and available delivery date
• Maintain entire store, including ensuring area is well stocked and merchandised with current product levels and information signage. Monitor inventory levels, perform inventory counts, and highlight inventory concerns
• Keep current on flyer and promotional events
• Actively strive to increase product knowledge, understand application and/or renovation techniques, and improve selling skills by participating in available training sessions
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
