Job Summary
Provide accurate information and assistance to customers via direct customer interface, perform administrative duties necessary for efficient operations, and promote sales and potential incremental revenue.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver customer assistance and product/service information in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Conduct administrative tasks supporting daily operations.
- Identify opportunities to generate incremental revenue through upselling and cross‑selling.
- Complete all required basic and recurrent training.
- Adhere to workplace safety standards, including lifting up to 70 lbs and handling packages up to 150 lbs with proper equipment.
Qualifications and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (college diploma preferred).
- Knowledge of Canadian Customs regulations (preferred).
- Knowledge of FedEx Express and Ground products and services (preferred).
- Proficiency in a PC Windows environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a highly pressured, monitored, and changing work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle stress.
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment.
- Must achieve minimum thresholds on mandatory testing and training.
Additional Requirements
- For candidates residing in Quebec, bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
- If the role involves driving, a valid driver’s license (Class 5, G, or 1 [AZ]) and a driving record with two or fewer violations or accidents in the last 24 months is required.
