Job summary

Walmart Canada is hiring a Cashier at our Saint-Jerome, QC location to support friendly customer service at checkout. You will handle transactions, protect assets with careful cash handling, and assist customers with bagging and product questions.

You will greet customers, promote sponsor programs, and escalate complex issues to a Customer Service Manager as needed. Minimum pay starts at 18.75 CAD per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Ability to handle cash and basic math.
• Ability to work in Canada or Canadian location.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a polite, friendly manner.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including deactivation of merchandise per EAS.
• Promote sponsor programs like credit cards, protection plans, and charity initiatives.
• Assist customers with bagging and loading merchandise.
• Maintain safe work practices and a clean work area.
• Secure cash register and follow store policies and procedures.
• Refer issues to a Customer Service Manager when needed.
