Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Process all purchase transactions quickly and accurately, including deactivation of merchandise per EAS program.
• Promote sponsor programs, e.g., credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Maintain store safety and a clean work area; follow cash handling procedures.
• Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling and policy adherence.
• Refer service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
