Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a customer service oriented associate for a retail postal outlet. You will deliver prompt service, greet customers, and manage checkout with accuracy while promoting PC Optimum participation.

Responsibilities include maintaining a neat checkout area, handling cash and coupons, merchandising designated spaces, and adhering to health, safety, and store policies. The role offers a steady hourly wage with opportunities for training through Academy.

Qualifications

• Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers
• Maintains a neat and organized checkout area
• Accurately scans or enters product data
• Accurately accounts for cash and coupon, lottery, and PC Optimum
• Asks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and display warm demeanor at the checkout
• Ensure proper documentation with respect to receipts and returns
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (facing, signing, labeling)
• Controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory to prevent losses
• Present proper image to the public per Uniform Policy and Dress Code
