Job summary

RONA is seeking team-oriented individuals to join our store administration teams in Charlottetown. You will greet customers, process transactions, and help keep checkout areas orderly while balancing daily cash reports.

The role emphasizes strong service, accuracy, and adherence to loss prevention and safety policies. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to resolve issues quickly, and comfort standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently.
• Attention to detail.
• Comfortable working on your feet for long periods, and occasionally working outdoors.
• Experience with cash register systems an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner.
• Process transactions precisely and accurately.
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered.
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
