Job summary

Walmart Canada in Powell River is seeking a part-time associate to provide outstanding customer service and support stocking and merchandising in a safe, clean store environment. You will greet customers, help locate products, and participate in the customer availability process as part of a collaborative team.

The role starts at a minimum hourly rate of $18.40 and requires 16 years of age or older. Training and compliance with safety policies are provided to ensure efficient backroom stocking

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.
