We specialize in high-end plumbing and HVAC services, and we're looking for a hard-working person to join us as a full-time 3rd Year, 4th Year or Journeyperson Plumber in our Custom Homes division. If you are looking for a career in doing good work at a reasonable pace, this position is for you. We offer an opportunity to work in new construction in 3,000–16,000 square feet custom homes where you will work on clean sites and utilize your skills in an environment where people care about and value both how it looks and how it performs. Our Custom Homes Journeyperson earns a competitive wage of $30.00-$44.00/hr, depending on skill level and experience.

Stable, Flexible Schedule

You'll typically work Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM.

Ideal Journeyperson Plumber for Custom Homes

We're looking for someone who meets these qualifications:

  • 3rd year, 4th year or Journeyperson certification level
  • Experience in new home construction, ideally with custom plumbing experience
  • In-depth knowledge about plumbing installation procedures, equipment, quality standards, and safety guidelines
  • Working knowledge of Alberta plumbing and gas codes as well as boiler and modern hydronic heating system installations
  • Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Attention to detail and a motivation to produce high-quality work

Responsibilities

  • Rough-ins, groundworks and installing of new plumbing systems in custom-built homes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
  • Work with high-end plumbing fixtures, specialty piping, and custom designs
  • Lead and mentor apprentices, providing guidance and hands-on training
  • Perform system tests using air and water pressure gauges to detect leaks and other issues
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures on job sites
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely execution of custom projects
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
