Job summary

Aramark in Canada is seeking a part-time Custodial Services Worker to clean and maintain assigned areas and support a safe, healthy environment for colleagues and clients.

You will follow established procedures, perform routine cleaning, report maintenance needs, and keep facilities secure. The role requires physical endurance, ability to lift and stand for long periods, and wearing PPE as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Must follow basic safety procedures due to chemical hazards.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, standing, and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures to provide a safe working environment including OSHA/regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to protect health and safety.
• Clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.
• Clean assigned areas to client standards and requirements.
• Report maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Secure the facility and ensure access as needed.
• Ensure security of company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Position Summary: The Custodial Services Worker cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including following OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
• Accurately cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as the need arises
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

Previous custodial experience preferred

Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

Part Time Hours

Saturday and Sunday 11am-7pm
