Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a glazier specialized in curtain walls to join our team in Toronto. The role involves selecting glass types, measuring and cutting, and accurately placing panes within frames.

You will install doors, windows, and other hardware while performing curtain-wall installations and related glass work. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights, reading blueprints, and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience as glazier or curtain wall installer
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Identify type of glass, frames and product required
• Measure, mark and cut glass
• Install panes and secure in frames
• Construct and install pre-fabricated glass, mirrors or glass products
• Install doors, windows and other hardware
• Repair glass doors and other glass structures
• Set up, erect and dismantle scaffolding and lifting equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Work at elevations on scaffolding or stages
• Work with curtain wall systems and premade glazing products
• Perform skylight and slope glazing installations
• Handle spandrel panels and aluminum curtain wall components
• Ensure safety and security protocols are followed
• Possess valid driver’s license and transport responsibilities
