Central Okanagan Public Schools invites applications for a temporary Skilled Culinary Educator with BC Teaching Certification. You will teach Culinary Arts at the secondary level, create engaging lessons, and support a hands-on, real-world learning environment in a commercial kitchen.
Emphasis on inclusivity, collaboration and life skills. Applicants must hold BC Teaching Certification and a Home Economics degree or equivalent; preferred credentials include Red Seal and FOODSAFE.

You would be responsible for supporting a commercial kitchen learning environment where students help prepare healthy cafeteria food for students and staff, a powerful setting for authentic learning, teamwork, leadership, and life skills.
The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $57,972 to $106,217, with placement based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
