Job summary

Raise is hiring an Intermediate Security Specialist to join our client team in Toronto. You will own CTEM operations, drive vulnerability management, and collaborate with software and cloud engineers to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.

The role focuses on AWS/Azure security, CSPM/CNAPP tooling, and risk-based remediation across on-prem and cloud environments. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cyber security, hands-on experience with CTEM, DevSecOps, and cloud security, plus strong

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in cyber security with security operations and vulnerability management or DevSecOps programmes.
• Proven experience establishing or contributing to a CTEM or continuous vulnerability management program.
• Hands-on experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, container security, IaC).
• Strong cloud security expertise across AWS and Azure and CSPM/CNAPP experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Operate and mature day-to-day CTEM activities, reviewing attack surface risk using Defender, Tenable, Prisma Cloud, and cloud services.
• Embed security testing into CI/CD pipelines and guide remediation through DevSecOps.
• Monitor and improve cloud security posture in AWS and Azure, configuring CSPM/CNAPP tools and remediation playbooks.
