Job summary

Humber River Health in Toronto region seeks a Registered Technologist, CT, to join the Medical Imaging team on a temporary full-time basis. The role spans rotating shifts, reports to the Manager of Medical Imaging, and requires CMRTIO status with CT experience. Location is the Wilson Site with a focus on safe, efficient CT imaging.

Applicants must be registered with CMRITO, ideally CAMRT, and maintain BCLS. The position offers a competitive hourly wage in a leading digital hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Registration in good standing with CMRITO is required.
• CAMRT registration preferred.
• CT certificate preferred; experience in CT is favored.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification maintained bi-annually.
• Ability to work independently and in a group; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department protocols and Radiologist directions.
• Operate CT equipment including scanners and contrast injectors.
• Prepare and assess patients for CT, obtain contrast consent, ensure exam validity, maintain sterile technique.
• Complete exam process by image review and reporting via PACS to Radiologists.
• Adhere to radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff.
