Job summary

Refinitiv (Ontario, Canada) is seeking a CSA Strategy & Process Manager to support pre-onboarding activities for new products and commercial models. You will partner with Product, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to define operating models and document requirements for scalable growth.

This role focuses on translating business concepts into actionable plans, facilitating workshops, and maintaining governance artifacts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Process Improvement, Consulting, or Program Management.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and documenting process flows.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with demonstrated stakeholder management abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support Gate 1 activities by documenting commercial models, product structures, packaging strategies, pricing approaches, and customer journeys.
  • Assist in evaluating new products and capabilities for onboarding to the strategic technology stack.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify business impacts, dependencies, risks, and operational considerations.
  • Support development of executive-ready materials, status reports, decision logs, and governance documentation.
  • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to document current-state and future-state processes.
  • Create and maintain process maps, workflows, business requirements, and operational design documentation.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the development and refinement of Azure DevOps epics and features.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Success, Architecture, and Technology teams to gather requirements and resolve open questions.
  • Track decisions, action items, dependencies, risks, and escalations across multiple initiatives.
  • Coordinate stakeholder reviews, approvals, and sign-off activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, customer experiences, and operational efficiency.
  • Support fit-gap analysis between existing capabilities and future-state business requirements.
  • Analyze data and operational impacts to support business recommendations.
  • Assist with readiness assessments and onboarding handoff activities.
  • Maintain project artifacts, requirements, repositories, and governance documentation.
  • Support status reporting and program tracking across multiple products and initiatives.
  • Support handoff packages for onboarding and implementation teams.
  • Ensure traceability between business requirements, process designs, decisions, and solution deliverables.

Job Description The CSA Strategy & Process Manager plays a key role within the Commercial Systems Acceleration team, supporting pre-onboarding activities that prepare new products, commercial models, and capabilities for successful implementation on Thomson Reuters' strategic technology stack. This role partners with Product, Revenue Operations, Finance, Customer-to-Cash, Architecture, and Technology teams to define commercial operating models, document business requirements, map future-state processes, identify capability gaps, and support onboarding readiness. The manager helps translate complex business concepts into actionable requirements and implementation plans that enable scalable growth and operational excellence. The successful candidate is naturally curious, highly organized, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and able to connect business strategy with operational execution. They enjoy facilitating discussions, solving complex business problems, and working across diverse stakeholder groups to bring new products and capabilities to market.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Pre-Onboarding Support

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience creating process maps using Lucidchart, Visio, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of Customer-to-Cash, Sales Operations, CPQ, CRM, ERP, or commercial systems.
  • Experience supporting business transformation or technology implementation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI, SaaS, subscription, and usage-based commercial models.

The base compensation range varies across locations. For Ontario, Canada, the base compensation range for this role is $126,000 CAD - $176,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
