Crushing Plant Foreman

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of operators and laborers to ensure safe and efficient operation of the crushing plant.
  • Monitor daily production targets and quality control to meet project specifications.
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of crushing equipment are carried out as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections to verify equipment functionality and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all company and local safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with the aggregate manager to optimize production processes and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, maintenance logs, and production reports.
  • Provide training to new employees and ensure team adherence to safe operating practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, logistics) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Plan and execute crusher mobilization.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in crushing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of crushing equipment, including crushers, conveyors, screens, and other aggregate production machinery.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret production schedules and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Willing to travel within the province.
