Job summary

Richardson International, a long-standing Canadian agricultural leader, is hiring a Crush/Seed Cleaning Operator in Yorkton, SK. You will operate and monitor processing equipment, coordinate daily tasks with other departments, and maintain a clean and safe crush/seed cleaning area.

We value reliability, a Grade 12+ education, and willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime. Experience in a manufacturing plant or grain cleaning operations is an asset.

Qualifications

• Must have grade 12 or equivalent with excellent written, documentation and verbal communications skills.
• Must have a good work performance and attendance record and be willing to work rotating shift schedule, weekends and overtime.
• Experience in a Manufacturing Plant environment or experience operating grain cleaners would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor processing equipment, including lubrication and maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate daily operational tasks and activities with other departments.
• Perform housekeeping duties in the crush/seed cleaning area.
• Participate in process optimization initiatives.
• Understand and comply with health and safety requirements and company policies.
• Participate in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiatives.

We currently have an opportunity for a Crush/Seed Cleaning Operator at our Yorkton, SK location.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor processing equipment, including lubrication and maintenance requirements
• Coordinate daily operational tasks and activities with other departments
• Perform housekeeping duties in the crush/seed cleaning area
• Participate in process optimization initiatives
• Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rules
• Participate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times: Always using the required personal protective equipment
• Ensuring that authorized work is completed safely
• Utilizing required controls to prevent risk of exposure to hazards
• Participating actively in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiatives
• Reporting all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedure
• Other duties as assigned
