Cardinal Point Wealth Management is seeking a career-oriented Private Wealth Manager/Portfolio Manager to join the team in Toronto. Ideal candidate has 5+ years of wealth management experience, is fully licensed in Canada with US cross-border licensing, and possesses strong communication and organizational skills.

The role involves leading client relationships, cross-border tax planning, and collaboration with specialists to deliver comprehensive financial plans.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience within wealth management, including experience with financial planning.
• CFP designation required; US CFP preferred; CIM or CFA designation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the client’s liaison, team leader, and advocate, ensuring financial and tax planning strategies follow firm standards.
• Serve as the primary advisor for cross-border wealth management, including tax, investment, and financial planning.
• Prepare and review tax projections and planning reports.
• Review prior year tax returns as part of the financial planning process.
• research complex individual, corporate, and trust tax issues, and communicate actionable tax strategies and opportunities to support cross-border tax planning and compliance.
• Maintain proficiency with Canadian and U.S. tax software.
• Collaborate with external tax and legal professionals to ensure cross-border wealth management strategies comply with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular reviews with clients to monitor changes in tax regulations and lifestyle objectives.
