Job summary

Contrans Flatbed Group is hiring for a full-time Company Driver position with 3 openings. You will operate a dedicated tractor on cross-border routes that span Ontario, Quebec, Michigan and New York, hauling multi-axle trailers and B-trains.

Expect steady year-round work with competitive per-mile pay and loading/unloading/tarp bonuses, plus paid orientation and bi-weekly direct deposit. A clean abstract and criminal record are required along with at least 1 year of flatbed experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year flatbed experience.
• Clean driving record (abstract) and clean criminal record.
• FAST card is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Haul cross-border loads on multi-axle trailers and B-trains.
• Run dedicated routes across ON, PQ, MI and NY.
• Coordinate loading/unloading and tarp procedures as required.

• $0.72/mile
• $35 each for loading and unloading straight trailers + $25 each to tarp and untarp
• $50 each for loading and unloading b-trains + $50 each to tarp and untarp
• Paid orientation
• Bi-weekly direct deposit through payroll
