Job summary

Central Ontario FS in Drayton, ON is seeking a Professional Applicator to operate agricultural application equipment and support growers with timely, reliable service.

You will perform minor repairs, apply fertilizer or crop protection products, complete logs, and follow safe practices to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver's license (preferably class DZ).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read maps and follow delivery directions.
• Agriculture experience an asset.
• Professional applicator experience an asset.
• Willingness to work in indoor/outdoor conditions with lifting and climbing.
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak times.
• Ag Exterminator/Nutrient Technician license would be an asset.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Normally requires a high school diploma.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (preferably class DZ), a driving abstract that represents a history of safe operation, as well as the ability to maintain insurability.
• A strong mechanical aptitude with ability to problem solve.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read maps, work orders, and follow specific delivery directions and instructions.
• Agriculture experience an asset.
• Professional applicator experience an asset.
• Willingness to work in indoor/outdoor conditions with some lifting and climbing requirements.
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak times.
• Current Ag Exterminator License or Nutrient Technician License would be a definite asset.
