About Us

Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is the only national, volunteer-based charity focused on finding the cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improving the lives of children and adults affected by these diseases.

In Canada, every 48 minutes, a person is diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) which describes a group of conditions, the two main forms are Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Our volunteers are leaders using their gift of time and talent to educate others, advocate, and help raise money so Crohn’s and Colitis Canada can continue to fund critical research, patient programs, advocacy, and awareness initiatives. Since 1974, Crohn’s and Colitis Canada has invested $145 million into world-leading Canadian research. Our Thunder Bay Chapter needs new volunteers to join our team, and we need your help!
