A leading financial services organization is seeking a CREDit Graduate Program Analyst in Toronto. This role offers a two-year training program focusing on credit analysis and financial evaluation, with a strong emphasis on Excel proficiency and teamwork. Successful candidates will have completed an undergraduate degree by August 2026 and demonstrate intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills. This position requires in-office work at least two days per week, emphasizing collaboration and learning opportunities.

The Role: CREDit Graduate Program Analyst Corporates
Program Overview:
When you join S&P Global Ratings you join one of the worlds leading providers of independent credit risk research and benchmarks. You are part of a team that produces high quality fundamental research based on established criteria.
Our CREDit Graduate Program is a two-year training and development opportunity with our next intake joining us in September 2026. CREDit Program Analysts are hired for a specific practice; however you are expected to transition between practices as dictated by business needs. In your first year CREDit analysts focus on acquiring skills and knowledge from your home; in your second year CREDit analysts gain exposure to other practices through a mix of classroom training and small projects or short-term secondments. All analysts combine practical work experience with the completion of a relevant qualification, for example the CFA.
The Practice:
As a CREDit Analyst in Corporates you will be assigned to industry coverage groups where you will learn about and work with corporations ranging from unfamiliar to those you encounter daily. You will be supporting the ratings process from the initial meetings with top level management teams to the final rating committees where you can learn from knowledgeable veterans within S&P. Responsibilities include applying the S&P methodology to prepare models, drafting articles for publishing, assisting with research, and developing credit intuition and analytical opinions using both top-down and bottom-up research. Current placements include: Technology Media & Telecom, Leisure & Entertainment, Consumer Products, Transportation, Autos & Defense, Healthcare, Capital Goods, Consumer Products, Retail & Restaurants, among others.
