As a Credit Analyst in the Equipment Financing team at National Bank, you will act as a credit evaluation expert.

This job allows you to make a meaningful impact on our organization through your expertise in financial analysis, risk management, and loan structuring. You will play a key role in supporting Canadian businesses by offering tailored financing solutions that help them grow and thrive.

This is an important role in delivering effective risk‑based loan pricing and profitability management. These credit gurus act as subject‑matter experts, providing guidance and support to credit associates and support teams, enhancing the development of our credit capabilities.

Your role
  • Analyze credit application and recommend appropriate financing structures
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Risk Management teams to support sound credit decisions
  • Approve credit requests within delegated limits and prepare recommendations for complex cases
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to portfolio assessments to identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
