The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team in Cambridge, Ontario. As the Credit Analyst, you will build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of customer accounts, initiating collections, processing their credit applications and payments, and assessing risk.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Credit Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Regularly notify customers of overdue accounts
  • Assist customers with account reconciliation and invoice dispute resolution
  • Resolve collection issues by making payment arrangements with customers
  • Assess risk and process credit applications
  • Work closely with Sales team to build and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records and files related to collections
  • Recommend further action in cases where payment is not forthcoming
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • 5 years of prior work experience related to credit or accounts receivable
  • CCP designation or enrollment in CCP program is a strong asset
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Highly adaptable and resourceful with strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

The base pay range for this role is: $57,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on experience, plus bonuses.

This is a hybrid role based in Cambridge, Ontario. Once training is complete, work can be performed from home 2 days per week.
