Acast in Canada is seeking a Creator Manager to support top shows with revenue and audience growth, developing bespoke strategies and coordinating with sales, creative and brand partnerships teams. You’ll help creators distribute across platforms and monetize on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Instagram and more.
In this role you will manage a roster of Canadian creators, build partnerships, negotiate agreements, and work with product and marketing teams to lift creator success.
About Acast
Since 2014, Acast has been building the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, creating the technology that connects podcast creators, advertisers, and listeners. Its marketplace spans more than 140,000 podcasts, 3,300 advertisers, and one billion quarterly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen—across any podcast app or listening platform.
We are looking for a driven, organized and experienced Creator Manager to join our Content department in Canada, supporting our most prestigious creators in their long-term growth.
You’ll be responsible for supporting our high-level shows with their revenue and audience growth strategies. You’ll do this with bespoke strategies covering audience growth, content ideation, product adoption and by working closely via a two-way feedback loop with our sales, creative and brand partnerships teams. You’ll support creators with their podcast strategy across the platforms they choose to distribute and monetize on - from Apple Podcasts and Spotify to YouTube and Instagram, and more.
In your daily work you’ll apply a data-driven approach, be able to demonstrate a sensitivity to commercial opportunities and brands, an appreciation of the rapidly evolving podcast landscape, as well as an instinct for how to promote podcasts and a strong passion for podcasting yourself. You will be responsible for elevating your creators to our sales and marketing teams, equipping them with all the information they need. And you will act as a consultant for our product and marketing teams - advising them on creator needs and collaborating on campaigns.
You’ll be trusted to manage and lead a roster of the most well-loved and in-demand shows in the Canadian Market, and you’ll be the first point of contact for their high level questions as well as attending events to support them - so we’re looking for someone who is service-minded with a passion for establishing and nurturing valuable relationships.
Acast is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin or any of the other wonderful characteristics that make us different.
