Hybrid Schedule - 4 days in office - please note that this position can also be filled in any of our offices across Canada

As a key member of the Digital, Creative and Brand team, you will collaborate across all areas of the firm, bringing fresh ideas and a proactive approach to every project. We’re looking for a self-starter who has a well‑rounded understanding of the digital space, takes initiative, and pushes boundaries to deliver exceptional results. Our creative designer will be versatile in their role and have a broad range of skills and knowledge across various disciplines with a well‑rounded understanding of our brand positioning and messaging.

You Will Be Focusing On
  • Brand Champion: This Creative Designer will be a champion of the global NRF brand in Canada and will be a strategic advisor on how to apply the brand across all creative materials in Canada
  • In‑house design support: This role will work alongside our entire channels team and will support design requests from all areas of the firm. This role will work with our in‑house clients and markets team members designing visual assets for social assets, events, emails, documents, brochures, web pages, and more.
  • Creative Development: This role is responsible for leading and developing unique look and feels for events, marketing campaigns, web pages, ad sets, etc., within our global brand elements
  • Strategy: This role will work with our channels and demand generation teams on visual strategies for various campaigns
  • Web Design: This role will work directly with our Senior Web Advisor to design assets for campaign web pages with an eye for UX best practices
  • Social Design: This role will work closely with our social and video team members to design assets specifically for LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Vendor Support: This role will work with our offshore design team to provide design coaching and will work alongside external design vendors to approve creative
  • Document support: This role will provide design support to our internal teams for presentation decks
  • Project management: This role is responsible for managing their own time and resources effectively while respecting deadlines
What You Bring To The Role
  • 6‑10 years of relevant experience as a designer, preferably in an in‑house setting
  • Professional services or legal field experience considered a strong asset
  • Bachelor’s degree or similar in graphic design, fine arts, or related field
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about digital projects in design, brand, creative, video, and web
  • Extremely organized and detail‑oriented
  • Ability to work independently and directly with stakeholders but also collaboratively
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design projects across various digital platforms
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Strong design skills for presentation and proposal decks in PowerPoint
  • Ability to think strategically and solve complex design challenges
  • Experience working with agency partners considered an asset
  • An understanding of AODA compliance design requirements
  • Bilingual (English and French) would be considered a strong asset

The salary bands provided reflect the typical range for this role in the region indicated. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of experiences and skills, and final compensation will be thoughtfully determined based on individual qualifications and current market factors. Please note that salary will be discussed and negotiated during interview.

Toronto: $81,500 - $100,700
Ottawa: $79,600 - $98,300
Vancouver: $79,600 - $98,300
