Job description

We’re searching for a true hospitality champion to lead our Food & Beverage team as Manager of the Crazy Raven Bar & Grill. The ideal candidate brings exceptional attention to detail, a passion for elevating the guest experience, and the ability to inspire and support our incredible team. The Crazy Raven operates in both the winter and summer seasons, so this role includes hybrid responsibilities during the shoulder seasons – supporting overall F&B planning, operations, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will also have a sharp eye (and outstanding taste buds!) for drink innovation and consistency, ensuring every menu item is served with flawless presentation and the signature Crazy Raven flair.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Hire, train, lead, coach and support the team to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly inventories.
  • Plan and manage the ordering and delivery of liquor, beer, and wine for licensed outlets.
  • Assist with planning and executing events in conjunction with the F&B and Marketing teams.
  • Uphold, document and follow operational procedures.
  • Participate in the planning of the department’s budget and financial goals.
  • Process and maintain periodic reports as requested.
  • Operate and oversee POS systems/procedures in the Crazy Raven.
  • Adhere to, support and champion OH&S policy and programs.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience.
  • Perform other managerial and administrative duties as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years’ experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role.

Committed to continuous growth, both professionally and personally.

Experience in the ski resort, outdoor recreation, hospitality, or tourism industry (an asset).

  • Must be able to legally work in Canada.

  • Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle with winter tires to get to/from work.
