Job summary

Zoho is seeking experienced Crane Operators to join our project teams in Canada. You will operate various cranes to lift and position heavy materials at job sites, following safety procedures and site rules.

The role requires 3+ years of crane experience, relevant certifications, and strong English communication. You will perform inspections, maintain records, and work with riggers and site supervisors in a demanding construction environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Crane Operator.
  • Experience operating mobile, tower, crawler, hydraulic, overhead or rough-terrain cranes.
  • Must be eligible to obtain Canadian crane operator certification/licensing.
  • Must hold the required trade certification or equivalent qualifications, where applicable.
  • Good English communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong understanding of crane safety and lifting procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary site team.
  • Physically fit for construction/industrial environments.

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced and skilled Crane Operators to join our team in Canada. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials and equipment at project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cranes safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures and safety regulations.
  • Perform lifting, hoisting, loading, unloading, and positioning of heavy materials and equipment.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections and ensure the crane is in safe working condition.
  • Follow load charts, lifting plans, hand signals, and radio communication instructions.
  • Coordinate with riggers, signalers, site supervisors, and other construction personnel.
  • Maintain accurate equipment and operation records.
  • Identify potential hazards and follow safe lifting practices at all times.
  • Comply with Canadian workplace health and safety standards.
  • Report equipment issues, defects, and maintenance requirements promptly.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Crane Operator.
  • Experience operating relevant crane types, such as mobile, tower, crawler, hydraulic, overhead, or rough-terrain cranes, isan advantage.
  • Must be eligible to obtain the required Canadian crane operator certification/licensing.
  • Must hold the required trade certification or equivalent qualifications, where applicable.
  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong understanding of crane safety, lifting procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary/site team.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a construction or industrial environment.
