Job Description

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal East, Quebec. Under the supervision of the supervisor, as a crane operator, you will actively participate in key operations in a dynamic environment by handling, identifying, and preparing ferrous and non‑ferrous materials, while playing an essential role in sorting, inventorying, and maintaining equipment.

What you’re responsible for:
  • Safely operatinga crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility
  • Lifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, and safely placingthem in designated areas or processing equipment
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security
  • Collaboratingand communicatingeffectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel
  • Conducting pre and post inspections of the crane, including overall crane maintenance
  • Operatingthe following heavy equipment: Crane, Shear, Loader
Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You hold a heavy equipment operator's license;
  • You have a valid Class 5 driver's license;
  • You have at least one year of experience driving and operating heavy vehicles;
  • You are conscientious about health and safety;
  • You are good at managing priorities;
  • You have good communication skills;
  • You work well in a team;
  • You are bilingual (an asset).
