Job summary

Central Alberta Co-op is seeking a Courtesy Clerk for the Innisfail Food Store. This casual, part-time role (less than 24 hours per week) offers mornings, afternoons, and evenings across weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling transactions, bagging purchases, stocking displays, price verification, and maintaining a clean store. Applicants must be at least 15; physical lifting of up to 50 lbs is required. Hiring notice: open until filled.

Position: Courtesy Clerk

Casual: Less than 24 hours per week

Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and respond to customer questions
• Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions
• Bag and assist with carrying out purchases
• Set up and maintain merchandise displays

Promptly and efficiently verify prices on items for cashiers

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs;some heavy lifting is required
• Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permitto employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
