Qualifications

  • M.Eng. in Civil Engineering with at least five years of civil engineering experience.
  • Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with specialization in probability/statistics or related probabilistic methods is an asset.
  • Active practice in civil engineering and membership in a Canadian professional engineering association.
  • Currently practicing in the field and eligible for licensure in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures and manage course content for Probabilistic Systems (CIVE 302 001).
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback within the academic term.
  • Develop and update course materials and assessments in collaboration with the department.
  • Support equity and diversity initiatives within the classroom and department.
