Job Summary

This interview position assists management in overseeing daily sort, delivery/pickup activities and remote domicile location/feeder operations where applicable. The role leads the assigned sector, ensuring best practices and effective operations, and serves as a mentor for hourly employees by demonstrating strong communication, conflict resolution and leadership ability.

Position Details

Part‑time position from Sunday to Thursday evening shift.

Responsibilities
  • Assist management in overseeing daily sort, delivery, pickup activities and remote domicile location/feeder operations (where applicable).
  • Lead the sector as assigned, ensuring best practices, effective operations and high performance.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for hourly employees, demonstrating excellent communication, conflict resolution and leadership skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Educational Requirements: High school diploma/equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year current Courier experience (6 months experience considered for certain applicants as noted above).
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of FedEx products, services and general operations. Must possess a valid driver's licence with a good driving record. Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment. Knowledge of DG specialist certification, BP and defensive driving/process updates, and Canadian Customs regulations (asset).
  • Personal Development: Proficiency in Excel (Personal Development Stream).
  • Training: Ability to complete basic and recurrency training and maintain annual accreditation.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, coaching, and employee training abilities. Excellent interpersonal and customer‑relations skills. Good analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization and organizational skills. Team player.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exception approved: 6 months of delivery experience in lieu of one year. Applications accepted between 26/11/2025 and 4/12/2025.
