FedEx Group in Cambridge, Ontario is seeking a part-time loader to load and unload shipments, sort packages, and ensure efficient delivery and pickup. The role includes checking shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada standards and providing related customer service.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
  • Must pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
  • Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Willing to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • High school diploma/educational equivalent
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
  • One (1) year customer oriented business experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
  • Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
  • Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset
