Job summary

UPS Canada is hiring Full-time Courier Drivers to work from the Comox Package Facility in Courtenay, BC. Position: Courier Driver, permanent full-time. Hours 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Duties include pre-trip checks, lifting 10–70 lbs, loading/unloading, and using the DIAD system. All candidates must pass interviews, background and reference checks. Training provided; weekly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Available to work Monday to Friday.
• Excellent Verbal Communications skills.
• Customer service and/or driving experience is an asset.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, outdoor environments and varying weather.
• Must have a valid BC Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift parcels weighing 10–70 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily packages to business and residential customers.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle checks for safety.
• Lift, sort and move boxes 10–70 lbs.
• Unload/load at drop-offs/pick-ups and use the DIAD system.
