This position is required to work in person at the RPF Operations Centre, 3330 Harvester Road, Burlington. Work location is subject to change at the discretion of the City due to operational demands.
This position plays a vital role in the Roads, Parks & Forestry Department by ensuring the efficient and secure transportation of deposits, mail, equipment, materials and supplies between various City facilities and other locations.
The successful candidate will not be eligible to participate in the GSD program due to the schedule of this role.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
A valid Class G driver’s license is required with an acceptable driver’s abstract with no more than three (3) driving related convictions or an accumulation of no more than three (3) demerit points in the previous three (3) years prior to the date of hire, and/or no administrative driver license (ADLS) suspensions.
This position requires a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
