Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a delivery-route role focusing on courteous pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route, ensuring shipments meet FedEx Canada service standards and providing related customer service.

Position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 70 lbs and handle up to 150 lbs, and flexibility with schedules including holidays. This is a PPT/part-time posting in Vaughan, Ontario.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs.
• 1 year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Must pass mandatory driver assessment training.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs is an asset.
• Bilingual (French and English) if residing in Quebec.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• High school diploma/educational equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• One (1) year customer oriented business experience preferred
• Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
• Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment
• Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs
