Job Purpose

To coordinate the flow of activity within the courier department and handle service parts requirements to meet customer needs in accordance with company specifications.

Title: Courier

Reports to: Team Leader

Hours of work: 7:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday

Location: 2621 Gore Rd, Shanty Bay, ON L4M 0H1

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
  • Work from verbal or written instructions, and work orders.
  • Pick, pack and process customer orders through WMS/TMS.
  • Completion of weigh bills.
  • Usage of Purolator and UPS Mailing systems.
  • Follow up on shortages and expedite through reporting to their Team Leader.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area in accordance to 5S principles.
  • Continue to grow Lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement to product and processes.
Education And Experience
  • High School Diploma, or GED
  • 2 years previous experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to think independently while working with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to function in a fast-paced multi-functional environment where priorities change regularly
  • Dynamics 365 & WMS/TMS
  • Customer service oriented with an eye for detail
