Job summary

Autism Services in Canada seeks an experienced clinician to provide counselling, therapy, and related services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. You will conduct assessments, build treatment plans, and collaborate with community partners while maintaining professional standards.

The role requires work with children, youth, and families, including group facilitation and supervision activities. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is expected to support client needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervised clinical experience in a related counselling area.
• Eligible to register with and maintain good standing in a relevant professional association.
• Experience providing counselling to children under 12 years of age.
• Experience with evidence-based interventions for children and youth mental health and behavioural concerns.
• Experience in facilitating group work; knowledge of group dynamics.
• Strong organizational, time management and caseload management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards.
• Respond effectively to complex and sensitive situations.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities
