Your role
  • Ensure setup of the projects is in conformance to Project Controls processes and procedures.
  • Monitoring, controlling and reporting Program and project performance through the whole program life.
  • Support Cost control solutions that could prevent meeting the project objectives and provide recommendations to optimize the overall project cost.
  • Support timely and accurate cost report updates at the end of each reporting period for the project control accounts to warrant proper monthly cost report.
  • Trending of actuals data and analysis of forecast.
  • Provide regular reports on project cost status and cost deviations and recommend remedial actions.
  • Ensure proper commitment tracking and reporting for PO's.
  • Provide regular reports on project time accumulation, analyze budget variances, recommend remedial actions.
  • Ensure PMET reporting is accurate, current and all variances are explained and supported.
  • Provide input to client reporting.
  • Prepare forward looking project and business cash flow forecasts.
  • Support the Coordination by the project Control Managers of the change management process on the project.
  • Lead the implementation of ECOSYS on the.
  • Interface with other project controls staff including other Cost Controllers and planners to maintain an integrated cost-schedule project control system.
  • Interface with planners on the deliverables' progress to update estimate-to-complete.
  • Present to team members as required.
  • Collaborate with Financial Shared Services Centre (FSSC) to initiate, review and issue client invoices.
  • Special assignments, ad hoc reports and other related duties as required.
About you
  • University degree (Bachelors).
  • Minimum 5-7 years Cost Control experience - up to senior level.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests.
  • Ability to manage Programs (multiple projects and initiatives within a program).
  • Mandatory - Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access database and Visual Basic programming in both.
