Qualifications

• A diploma in aesthetics, cosmetology or business management is an asset.
• Good knowledge of cosmetics products and services.
• 3 to 5 years experience in management, sales, retail or related field, is an asset.
• Excellent organization, planning and time management skills.
• Strong skills for coaching and mentoring.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of new trends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exemplary customer service for the cosmetics department
• Set and achieve sales goals
• Plan, organize and control the operations of the cosmetics department
• Manage purchases and sales
• Manage the cosmetics team
• Make contact with customers and ask questions to identify their needs
• Apply makeup and conduct events/presentations
• Perform customer transactions
• Recruit and select experienced cosmeticians, oversee the training of cosmeticians
• Provide leadership and promote best practices in performance management to all cosmeticians
• Ensure good communications with the managers and pharmacists of the stores
