Enbridge is seeking an experienced Corrosion Technician to execute area corrosion programs in the Transmission South area, based in Savona, BC. You will work in a unionized environment, traveling up to 50% and supporting integrity digs, coatings, and corrosion inspections with a focus on safety.

Key responsibilities include monitoring equipment, performing piping inspections, and leading safe work practices with contractors.

Competenze

• Ground Disturbance Level II required or GD2 to be obtained within first 60 days.
• Valid driver’s license and strong safety focus.
• Basic computer skills required.

Mansioni

Are you an experienced Corrosion Technician looking for a new challenge? In this position you will be responsible for executing all area corrosion programs, working in a team environment within the Transmission South area based in Savona, BC.

Important Note:

This role is considered safety sensitive, and as such, you may be required to undergo various background screenings. This may include but is not limited to a driving record abstract, criminal check, a company sponsored medical and drug testing (applicable to successful external candidates only).

What you will do

Who you are

You have the following qualifications and skills:

Required

• Ground Disturbance Level II (or to be obtained GD2 within first 60 days)
• Hold a Valid driver’s license.
• Strong focus on safety.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Corrosion integrity digs on hot lines.
• 5+ years of Ground Disturbance Level II.
• Line Locating Certification.
• AMPP Coating Inspector Level 1.
• NDE Inspector experience.
• AMPP Welder Inspector certification.
• Safe Work Permit Training.
• Knowledge of Enbridge SOP’s
• Experience with pipeline integrity excavations, inspections and coating.

Working Conditions

• This role may require extended stays away from home base.
