We’re seeking a Security Technical Lead in Calgary to help protect Suncor’s people, assets, operations, information and reputation through the design, implementation and sustainment of physical and electronic security systems. In this role, you’ll provide technical leadership across security projects, partner with internal teams and vendors, and help advance scalable, reliable security solutions that support Suncor’s long-term security strategy.
This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W. Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs. You will be required to travel, sometimes at short notice, to Suncor operations within Canada, the U.S. or globally. You may be required to be available outside regular office hours to troubleshoot system failures, respond to emergency or security incidents, or support project schedules. This position is security sensitive which requires you to clear a criminal history check.
